    Arts Access is one of Victoria's peak arts organisations. All programs involve improving disability awareness in the community and improving access to public arts and cultural venues and facilities. Their artistic program is about creating opportunities for people to participate in some creative activities, such as visual and performing arts. Their training program delivers customised training to raise awareness of disability issues among people working in the arts and entertainment industries, from customer service staff to management and policy makers. The ticket service and the training program at Arts Access especially focus on encouraging positive change in the community. Their vision is for 'a community that provides equal access, choice and active participation in the arts for all people'.

    Artspace fosters the development of challenging new installation-based work, including projects in video, performance, sound, interactive and other forms of developing technologies. They also operate four residential and eight non-residential studios on-site in the Gunnery Building. The Residency Program provides local, national and international artists with the space and time to develop new ideas and work, as well as enabling the construction of major site-specific works for the Artspace Gallery Program.

    Gertrude Contemporary offers a range of residency programs for visiting international and interstate, artists and curators, for periods of between two weeks to three months. Participants in the residency program stay in Gertrude Contemporary’s fully-appointed residential apartment/studio, Studio 18, that is located on the top floor of Gertrude Contemporary’s gallery complex. During their residency the participants will gain opportunities to become involved in Gertrude Contemporary’s cultural community, pursue independent studio practice, and on occasion engage with cultural exchange projects.
