Since its establishment, YATF has worked to meet the demands of independent artists throughout the Arab region, exploring new artistic sensibilities and developing links and cultural spaces conducive to creativity and critical engagement. Among others, YATF supported the launching of 8 cultural spaces in the region. These include the Garage Theatre, the Windows Theatre in El-Minia, the Factory space at the Townhouse Gallery in Cairo, Ness El Fen Space in Tunisia and the temporary exhibition space "The House" in Amman.

BAM is the Flemish institute for visual, audiovisual and media art. It functions as an independent organisation that provides information, and encourages development and networking - both within the visual arts fields and crossing boundaries into other disciplines. BAM encourages collaboration and exchange between Flemish organisations and institutions abroad and tries to increase the interest in and knowledge of the Flemish art scene abroad through an international communication and by organising a visitors programme for foreign art professionals.

Highly regarded independent cinema in Brussels. Nova offers diverse monthly programming based on selected thematic threads. In addition to screening contemporary and historic films, Nova organizes a variety of special events like the Open Screen, Live Soundtracks, TV Nova, Ears Open, Cineketje and Midnight Screenings. The Nova screen is open to all formats and welcomes a mix of short, medium and full length feature films, as well as documentaries, experimental short films and videos that were either never properly distributed in Belgium or simply shunned by the conservative commercial circuit.It has not only become a small distribution house, but thanks to its focus on different workshops and alternative production methods, it has begun to develop its own production structure. Performance art, political forums, musical gigs, the Microboutiek, and a slew of visual arts are displayed on a regular basis in the Nova Bar located beneath the cinema.
