    The Workshop was set up in Lybster, Caithness, Scotland in 1995, to encourage study, research, collaboration and co-operation between glass and other artists, designers, crafts people and architects in the production and use of creative glass of the highest quality. North Lands Creative Glass has already established a reputation as one of the foremost centres for creative glass in Europe, providing Masterclasses and Conferences alongside its courses. Three six to eight week residencies offered by North Lands Creative Glass, one running from July to August and two consecutively from mid September. Well-equipped studio with free access to the hot glass workshop, kiln room and cold finishing facilities and all related tools and equipment.

    The National Centre for Craft & Design is the UK's largest centre for craft and design making. The four floors house two galleries, a shop, cafe, teaching spaces and six on-site workshops for resident designer makers. These designer makers in residence will sell their work from the gallery.
