How It Works

Claims for an artist's re-sale royalties must be made through one of three collecting organisations: DACS (the Design and Artists Copyright Society), Artists' Rights Administration Ltd (ARA), and the Artists' Collecting Society community interest company (ACS).

These organisations liaise with auction houses and dealers for details of sales and sale prices.
