    The LawWorks works with volunteer legal advisors who provides the legal advice for free to small charities, not for profit, voluntary and community organisations and sometimes individuals. They can help you with a wide variety of legal work including company law, employment law, intellectual property law, property law, tax/VAT law etc. For individuals they help settle disputes by way of a mediation.

    Campaigns for, and raises awareness of, artists rights around the world - including copyright, moral rights and intellectual property rights. Their free online guide provides a good first-stop to artists interested in learning more about their rights, how they are exploited and how they can be enforced. Artquest supports the Artists Bill of Rights.

  • City Enterprise Services

    The City Enterprise Service is a free walk-in centre offering assistance for small businesses and technology start-ups.The service provides advice on a range of business and legal matters. It is run by law students of The City Law School and supervised by local professionals and experienced start-up owners. No booking is required.

  • LVFA

    Layers Volunteering for the Arts offer pro-bono legal advice to small arts organisations and arts community groups. if you are a non-profit or work with the community on arts or cultural projects, you may qualify for help on a range of legal issues. The scheme depends on a lawyer with the right expertise, being available at the time you contact them for help.

  • Free Law Direct

    Free Law Direct provides advice agencies and not-for-profit organisations with free access to a network of lawyers. All advice is delivered anonymously via their website.
