    CAMAC is an international multidisciplinary art centre close to ParisThe 'artist in residence' programme aims to bring together artists in mid or advanced career stages from all countries and all disciplines for a concentrated period of one to four months. Artists are invited to present their proposals along with detailed costs and objectives to Camac. Some residencies are self funded and once a year you can apply to the fully funded Unesco Auscberg Residency. Call for 2011 in November.

    Contemporary art centre which each year hosts an artist in residence. The aim of this seven and a half month residency is to produce new works for group exhibition at La Galerie. Each year's residency is themed, they also have 1 residency for curators a year. La Galerie will participate to the funding of the project and will bring logistic support to its realisation (artist fees and production costs).

  • SAM Prize for Contemporary Art

    With its grant of 20, 000 Euros, this competition is open to all artists over the age of 25, who have been resident in France for at least 2 years, and who have a signed contract with a gallery. The aim of the prize is to allow the selected artist to carry out a project which he will conduct in an emerging country in the Southern hemisphere, and exhibit in France in the following year. Every kind of expression and all the visual arts disciplines are accepted : painting, sculpture, installation, photography, video etc. To apply upload on their website your portfolio describing a project that you would like to carry out in an "emerging" country, understood in a wide sense.
