Visual Arts: Mid-size

Venues in this section may accept unsolicited applications, although it is always better to contact them individually before sending any material to ensure it goes to the right person and at an appropriate time.

These venues show emerging artists who are beginning to become more established - when you're at the stage in your career where you still get involved in group exhibitions, but are perhaps trying to get a first- or second-solo show.  The frequently provide a 'stepping stone' between being an early and mid career artist.
