    The Edith Russ Site for Media Art will award three six-months work stipends (10,000 Euros each) from July to December, for artists working in New Media. There are no age limitations. Submitted project proposals will be reviewed by an international Jury. A minimum residency of one month is required. Deadline in February.

    The Kuenstlerhaus Schloss Balmoral is an institution of the Foundation for Culture in Rheinland-Pfalz. It is a place of artistic production, theoretical reflection and social and artistic contact. It promotes artists and under special circumstances, theoreticians from around the world through the allocation of residential fellowships. The Kuenstlerhaus also has the objective of reaching the public through events such as lectures, seminars, concerts and exhibitions. Since its foundation in 1995, the work of artists here has covered the disciplines of painting, sculpture, installation, drawing, graphic art, design, photography as well as theory. Deadline: usually mid-summer.

    In 1998 Polli Talu Arts Center was registered as a non-profit organization in Estonia and it is based in five farm buildings not far from the port town of Virtsu. Artists may apply to be in residenceduring the summer. Residencies last 2 - 4 weeks. The cost per person/ per day is Euro 35, which includes housing, meals and studio space. Groups of 10 more recieve a discount of 25 euro per day. Artists must bring with them all the materials and tools they will need for their work.

    CAMAC is an international multidisciplinary art centre close to ParisThe 'artist in residence' programme aims to bring together artists in mid or advanced career stages from all countries and all disciplines for a concentrated period of one to four months. Artists are invited to present their proposals along with detailed costs and objectives to Camac. Some residencies are self funded and once a year you can apply to the fully funded Unesco Auscberg Residency. Call for 2011 in November.

    Established in 1993, LKV (Lademoen Artists' Workshops) is located in Trondheim, Norway. Now organised as a foundation, this five-storey former school houses thirty-four studios for Norwegian artists, two studios (with accommodation) for international residents, two project spaces and workshops for wood, metal, printing, 16mm film, video, a darkroom and computer lab. International visual artists can apply for residencies of one to three months (longer or shorter stays by negotiation). Studios (equipped with basic tools) and apartments (for two people) are rent free. Residents cover all travel, materials, and other living costs. Residents may be asked to give a presentation of their work in the form of lectures. Application deadline for a guest studio at LKV is September 10 every year.
