The president and council of Visual Arts Scotland are once again requesting submissions for the annual juried exhibition of fine and applied art. Submissions are sought in all disciplines for the 87th Annual exhibition which will be once again exhibiting in the upper galleries, sharing the Upper Galleries with the RSW, so big and exciting works are expected for the space. They have removed the size restriction from the schedule, and have many prizes to award to ambitious works across all the disciplines. They also continue to celebrate smaller works, and hope to repeat the success of the selection of handmade artists books, as well as the jewellery.

Elsewhere Collaborative, a living museum and experimental production environment in downtown Greensboro, set within a three-story former thrift store, boarding house, Elsewhere residencies invites experimental creators to join our collaborating community in utilizing this immense collection of objects, no longer for sale and instead circulating internally, as material or inspiration for site-specific projects that become part of an endlessly transforming environment of objects and works. Artists live and work within interactive installations that provide evolving frameworks for investigating collaborations, community structures, and creative processes. Each resident pays a $500 fee, funds their own travel, and participates in their food co-operative every week. Funded residencies are currently available through a small number of education fellowships and curated residency events.
