Circle Line
An opportunity for University of the Arts London graduates to get a free studio for a year in either ACAVA or Cockpit Arts, receive mentoring and learn about working in education projects.

OZ
Artquest / Parramatta Artists Studios / ACAVA project for a 3-month reciprocal visual arts studio residency in a new purpose-built studio complex in Western Sydney, Australia, awarded to artist Jaye Ho.  Includes live / work accommodation, return airfare, a stipend and materials contribution. PAS also provide professional development support and there may be an opportunity to showcase new work produced whilst in OZ.

<<3 months in Berlin>>
Artquest and ACAVA supported 3-month visual arts studio residency in Berlin, awarded to artist Michelle Diegnan.  Residency includes travel costs, stipend, accommodation and studio space.

Value Added: Roles, participation and economies in contemporary visual practice
Conference focussing on the value of socially engaged artistic practice which took place on 12 November 2008.  This one-day conference brought together key figures from London, UK and overseas to discuss issues specific to London but equally the wider questions of the value and ownership of contemporary arts practice.  It offered practitioners (artists and those who work with them) new perspectives on the opportunities for socially engaged practice in London currently and the professional and critical issues inherent in this type of work.

Total Madrid
Artquest and Liquidacion Total supported residency awarded to allsopp&weir (Paul Allsopp and Andy Weir) during August 2008.  Residency included travel, accommodation, studio space and an exhibition after the six-week residency.

The Third Annual Artquest Jumble Sale
Held on Saturday 28 June in Clapham the Jumble Sale, now in its third incarnation, was a fun day out making friends and picking up or selling cut-price second hand equipment, bric-a-brac, books and clothes.
