How galleries work: public galleries and studios – Gasworks

Past Project 2014
Many public-funded exhibition spaces run different strands of activities to sustain themselves.

Gasworks is an exhibition space with attached artists’ studios. It is also the hub of an international arts network (The Triangle Network).

In this film Gasworks Director Alessio Antoniolli talks about the gallery programme. He discusses how funding influences the gallery’s activities and what it means to be the hub of an international network.

The film also features interviews with artists who work within the studios there.
