Trade Secrets Episode 2: Helen Carnac on approaches to practice

Often practitioners work in a number of different roles within the art world to sustain and develop their careers. Helen Carnac is an artist, curator and also teaches. In this interview she talks about how her practice is an approach that is embedded in the different things she does. Helen also describes how her relationship with galleries has changed as her practice has developed.

Helen Carnac was involved in FORUM, a peer mentoring project run by Artquest. She is currently a member of the Artquest Advisory Board and was also the curator of Craft Rally a major conference run by Artquest on behalf of the Crafts Council.
