Archie Bray Foundation for the Ceramic Arts

Website: http://www.archiebray.org/residence_program/residence_program.html

The Foundation offers both short and long-term residencies. Full-time residencies are for one to two years, with short-term residencies usually in the summer months. The Foundation periodically offers extended stays to visiting artists. Each resident artist is provided a studio, with glazing and kiln facilities shared. Fuel and material costs are the responsibility of the artist. The Foundation purchases clay and other necessary materials in large lots to keep the artists’ costs low. Artists may consign their work for sale through the on-site Bray Gallery for a one third commission. Resident artists can find housing in the surrounding area, making their own arrangements. Most residents find it necessary to have a car.
