ARCO

One of Europe’s biggest contemporary art fairs, ARCO plays an important role in the field of research, integration of the arts, training and networking for art dealers and artists. In 1987 IFEMA and The ARCOmadrid jointly created the ARCOFoundation, a non-profit organistion whose holdings are used for the promotion of contemporary art. The ARCO Foundation started the collection with works acquired during the art fair, contributing to the development and promotion of Spanish and international contemporary art.
