Arts Council England provides Government and National Lottery funding for the arts. Although much of their budget goes toward funding organisations, around £70m each year goes to their Project Grants programme: open application grants that can be applied for at any time and for any arts-related activity. Grants of up to £15,000 take six weeks to decide, and grants of £15,001-£100,000 take 12 weeks. Around £3.6m per year goes to Developing Your Creative Practice (DYCP).

Arts Council England provides an annual grant to Artquest of £120,500 (around 38% of our turnover) to support all of our salaries and many of our projects, enabling us to pay artists a fair fee for their work with us.
