North Lands Creative Glass Residency

The Workshop was set up in Lybster, Caithness, Scotland in 1995, to encourage study, research, collaboration and co-operation between glass and other artists, designers, crafts people and architects in the production and use of creative glass. Residencies happen twice a year,  each bringing four glass and visual artists, at different stages of their career, to live and work together here for eight weeks, or here and another venue for mixed-media partnership residencies. Through collaboration, cross fertilisation of ideas and practice, the residency creates new Opportunity for learning, exploration and creative development.
