Pitshanger Manor, a restored Regency villa was once owned and designed by Sir John Soane (1753-1837), architect and surveyor to the Bank of England. A sympathetically designed extension to the manor, built in 1940, houses the largest contemporary gallery space in West London. Exhibitions of professional contemporary art in all media are exhibited year-round.
