International residency program providing access to a specialized studio facility for professional sculptors. There are no geographic or stylistic restrictions. The selection is made by the Sculpture Space Review Committee and rotating guest panelists. Primary criteria are quality, originality, and

Twenty artists are selected every year. Each receives a stipend toward residency expenses. Residencies are scheduled between September and August, excluding December, with no more than four artists in residency at one time. Artists are expected to stay for a full two months. Residents have 24/7 access to the studio. They are responsible for their own materials, specialized tools, fees for work done outside the premises, and for an assistant, should they require one. Residents typically spend approximately $1000 per month on materials and expenses. A basic command of the English language is necessary. Bicycles are provided, and a shared car is available for local travel.The facility consists of 5,000 square feet of open studio, and two 400 square foot private studios for special projects.The facility consists of 5,000 square feet of open studio, and two 400 square foot private studios for special projects.
