The Photographers Gallery is committed to exhibiting a broad range of photographic work, with an emphasis on new developments in the medium, new technologies and current debates around photography and society. They are particularly interested in work that looks beyond photography’s traditional forms towards innovative ways of using the medium and extending its vocabulary. They favour work that has a strong thematic basis, that deals with contemporary issues – whether social or aesthetic – or that reassesses historical themes and perspectives.
