Yaddo Artists in Residence Programme

Yaddo is set in a woodland estate and provides a working environment for artists, writers and performers. Open to international visual artists and other art form practitioners, residencies of two weeks to two months are offered with accommodation, studios and meats provided. Residencies vary in length – the average stay is five weeks. The minimum stay is two weeks; the maximum is eight weeks. Artists are eligible to apply once each calendar year – either January 1 or August 1, but not both.There is no fee for residency. Yaddo’s nonrefundable application fee is $30, to which is added a fee for media uploads ranging from $5 to $10, depending on the discipline. Application fees must be paid by credit card. Funds exist to provide limited financial aid to artists, based on need. Only individuals who have already been invited for visits may apply for financial assistance
