Amersham Museum Residency & Commission

Essex Cultural Diversity Project and Farnham Maltings invite proposals from creative practitioners, to work with Amersham Museum. Amersham Museum turns 30 this year and they are looking for a proactive artist(s) or company to work with the museum on a project to creatively capture and present recollections and stories about Amersham from a diverse range of local people who have been born since it opened in 1991. The project will be split in to 2 parts – a residency phase to recruit and work with those aged under 30 from the local area, followed by a creative response to the residency that will become part of the museum’s collection. The budget is £10,000 and will be treated as a grant. This is inclusive of all expenses and must therefore cover fees, travel, accommodation, materials, permissions and licences and marketing.

Expires: July 11, 2021
