Art in the Dockyard
Art in the Dockyard invites submissions for The Historic Dockyard Chatham’s annual open art submission competition. Open to emerging and professional artists,the competition will culminate in an exhibition of selected works. This year’s theme will be “Of the Sea” and submissions are invited across all art forms,including lens based media,sculpture and performance. Two prizes will be awarded to artists. The main award will be judged to give contextual relevance to the Dockyard’s historical legacy,with a £750 prize. The curatorial selection committee will select the Curators’ Choice award and will be looking for works that have a global,social and political significance,with a £750 Prize.
