Art Licks Weekend 2018: Peripheries

Applications are now open to take part in the sixth year of the Art Licks Weekend festival. For 2018, the Art Licks Weekend takes on the title, Peripheries, to explore how participating projects actively situate themselves on the edges of the art market and its structure as a way of establishing alternative creative working systems and new possibilities of access. Alongside this, Art Licks will organise a series of events for participants in the lead-up to the festival, to give time and space for those taking part to discuss shared concerns and methods, and to build on the support structure that the festival model creates.

Apply for the 2018 Art Licks Weekend and enter the sixth annual Workweek Prize: £1,000 for an independent artist-led space or independent curatorial project without a fixed venue. Find out more about the Workweek Prize here: https://www.artquest.org.uk/project/workweek-prize/
