Artist in Residence, Elan Valley
Applications are invited from visual artists for the 2021-22 Artists Residency programme in the Elan Valley, mid-Wales. Visual artists are invited to apply for one of three residencies, one in the 2021 season and two in 2022. Each artist will spend up to four weeks in the Elan Valley either in one block or spread over a period of six months from their appointment. Through the arts we want to better understand, explore and engage with nature, water and issues around sustainability, as well as the rural/urban dynamic. The Artists’ Residencies aim to help us achieve this. Applications are welcome from artists from a wide range of disciplines and experience to apply for a residency, including but not limited to, painting, sculpture, photography, drawing, live art/ performance and socially engaged practice. The residency includes accommodation and a fee of £3,000, which is inclusive of all transport, living expenses, materials, preparation time and public presentations during the residency period.
Expires: March 26, 2021
