Artist Inspiration Days at Battersea Arts Centre
Battersea Arts Centre is looking for 30 disabled and non-disabled visual artists and makers from a variety of backgrounds who work with different fabrics and materials to take part in a paid 1 day development opportunity on either 24 May or 9 June. As part of a project to improve and open up the building, Battersea Arts Centre is planning to install a series of permanent artworks. As part of an early commissioning process, they are planning two artist Inspiration Days. This will be a development opportunity for artists but also a chance for BAC to be introduced to a new cohort of visual artists and makers. There will be a further selection process following the inspiration days. The selected artists will go on to develop a series of installations around the building. There will be several phases of paid research and development for these artists. A free lunch will be provided and artists will be paid £100 to participate in the day.
Expires: May 15, 2017
