The Hochschule für Bildende Künste Braunschweig (Braunschweig University of Art) in Germany invites applications for scholarships for artists to be awarded in 2016. Three scholarships for artists of Sound Art and five scholarships for artists of Fine Arts will be awarded. These scholarships are part of the promotion programme for artists of the Braunschweig University of Art and the State of Lower Saxony aimed at young artists who are interested in working intensively on artistic projects in the environment of an art university. Selected artists will receive a grant in the amount of 1,250 EUR per month for a maximum term of 6 months for sound art and 12 months for fine art. A rent-free live-in studio will also be provided. Artists must not be older than 40 years at the start of the scholarship term. Applications must be submitted by post.
