This residency is part of an ongoing exchange organised by QUAD, in Derby and Tank Loft, Sichuan Fine Art Institute / 501 Xu exhibition space in Chongqing. This exchange Residency Programme is for a UK based artist to be in residence for 6-8-weeks and have a dedicated Studio at Tank Loft located in the Campus of Sichuan Fine Art Institute. The residency will include research trips as relevant, gallery/studio visits and a trip to the Sichuan Fine Art Academy Campus. During the residency there is an opportunity to deliver a paid talk/workshop for the SFAI art students, and if relevant to make an open studio/exhibition event at the end of the residency. The residency includes return flights, accommodation and a stipend for food. Open to artist based anywhere in the UK, working in any medium with experience of running workshops.
