artsdepot is commissioning one exhibition and/or installation to be presented in the Apthorp Gallery. The week long exhibition will take place during the October Half Term (Sunday 23 – Sunday 30 October). artsdepot welcome proposals from all visual arts mediums, from either existing touring exhibitions or from an individual or collective of visual artists with a demonstrable track record. The commission fee will be £1,000. artsdepot will have theatre family shows in the venue during the October half term so the work will need to be engaging and accessible for all ages. The nationwide event of Big Draw will also be taking place throughout the building on the final day of the exhibition, so an active or participatory element is desirable.
