FiLiArt: Feminism, Class and Art

Call for artists and filmmakers for an exhibition that will be part of the FiLiA (Feminism in London) Conference at the Institute of Education, London, October 14-15th. They are looking for films and videos for a screening but will also consider other works and performances to be part of a small curated exhibition. It is the organisers’ intention that the exhibition will begin to break down the hegemony of class and privilege in artwork about women’s experiences. They want to provide a space for women artists who feel their stories are not adequately told.
