FORMAT photography festival in Derby is looking for submissions that explore the theme of Habitat. They are looking for a wide variety of works for presentation in the festival, from long term researched documentary, multimedia, archive, installation, interventions, publications, fictions, interactive, performance, participatory, mobile, narrative and all kinds of conceptual works all rooted in photography in diverse ways. Submissions will be considered for the festival exhibition programme and various awards of up to £2,000. FORMAT can offer bursaries to successful artists as a contribution to transportation costs of artwork to the festival. Each submission costs $43 (approx. £30*).
