GASS Showcase – Invitation to tender – professional visual arts writers

Website: https://cultivatorcornwall.org.uk/

The GASS showcase is a live residency and exhibition showcasing 13 post Graduate artists who have been supported by the Cultivator Graduate Start Up programme based in Cornwall. This is an opportunity for 5 writers to work with 2 or 3 artists. Each writer will engage in in-depth conversations about the artists’ work – this could be an overview of their practice or a particular piece of recent work, and produce a piece of writing that reviews and commentates on each of the artist’s work. The work selected by the artist and writer will relate to the pieces that will be show at the final exhibition in October 2021. Each selected writer will receive a fee of £250 per artist they work with.

Responses and enquiries should be sent to olivia@cultivatorcornwall.org.uk.

Expires: June 30, 2021
