Gasworks & Bag Factory Fellowship in Johannesburg

Gasworks’ International Fellowships Programme are calling for UK based artists to apply to undertake a residency at the Bag Factory in Johannesburg, South Africa in February-March 2018. This program is funded by the Arts Council England.

Included as part of the 4-8 week residency are:

– Accommodation (room in a house with shared kitchen and bathroom)
– A temporary work space
– Basic living expenses
– Materials budget
– Economy return flights
– Local travel budget
– Public event/s as agreed with the host organisation, such as an Artist Talk or Open Studio
– Administrative and peer support is also provided for all participating artists
