Artist in Residence – Headway East London

Website: http://headwayeastlondon.org/page/current-vacancies/

Headway East London is a charity supporting people affected by brain injury in London. Their Hackney-based Day Service is home to Submit to Love Studios, a community of self-taught artists who are brain injury survivors. They are looking for a practicing artist to work in their open-access art studio over a period of six weeks, creating artworks in response to and in collaboration with their members. The Residency will run for a six-week period, with the selected artist working for six weeks, 3 days a week from 10am-3.30pm in their Hackney studio. There is a £1400 artist’s fee, which will cover any additional material costs.
