Jerwood UNITe 2021 Open Call

UNITe is a nine-week artist studio residency programme based at g39 in Cardiff for artistic development, experimentation, research, creative discussions, and more. Presented in collaboration with Jerwood Arts for the first time, g39’s UNITe season has run for seven years and is open to early-career visual artists working in any media. Each of the 5 artists selected for the residency, will receive a fee of £1,750 as well as accommodation and travel costs if based over 90 minutes away from Cardiff by car, plus access to a studio space for research, development of ideas and production of new work for 9 weeks from 1 April to 5 June 2021 and opportunity to take part in a development programme of activity and training. At least two of the places will be offered to an artist from a Black, Asian or ethnically diverse background.
