The John Ruskin Prize 2019 is open to artists, designers and makers of all nationalities, resident, studying or currently making work or with work represented in the UK. Applicant’s submitted work should to respond to the theme: Agent of Change. There are three prizes available: 1st Prize: £3000, 2nd Prize £1000 and a Student Prize of £1000. All artwork in 2D and 3D, in both new and traditional media is accepted. Photography is not eligible. However, photographic works that have been manipulated or inform part of a larger process or work (collage / installation) are eligible. Up to 3 digital images of each artwork can be submitted and there is an application fee of £12 (student fee £10) for 1 artwork, £15 (student fee £12) for 2 artworks and £20 (student fee £15) for 3 artworks.
