Lucy Art Residency

Website: https://lucyartresidency.com

The Lucy Art Residency announces its second open call to its short residency program and commission for visual artists.  This is an opportunity for an artist based in Europe or the Mediterranean, whose main practice is photography, to spend two weeks in June 2018 in Kavala, Greece.  The aim of the residency is to provide free time and space for artists and to slowly build an artistic community based on exchange in the city of Kavala.  The selected artist will be offered free accommodation in the five star Lucy Hotel in Kavala, and the return trip from their country of residence is covered, as well as three meals a day at the hotel premises. Furthermore, a per diem and an artist fee for the production of one artwork will be provided. Opportunities to meet with local art organisations will be encouraged.  No application fee.
