OPEN CALL: Zabludowicz Collection – Master Class 2020

Master Class is a week-long intensive for emerging artists developed in collaboration with artist Doug Fishbone at the Zabludowicz Collection in North London.  Now in its 8th year, Master Class offers a unique and free opportunity for eight emerging artists selected through a national Open Call. Over the course of a week, the participants will work closely with leading international artists and key arts professionals to discuss and develop their individual practices through a series of lectures, tutorials, workshops, reading groups, gallery visits and seminars. This opportunity is open to practicing UK-based artists who have completed at least a BA degree course, and are keen to advance their professional skills to sustain a career as an artist, artists who have undertaken an equivalent level of training/education and are at the same stage in their careers will also be considered. Applicants must not currently be undertaking formal graduate or post-graduate education, and should have been out of formal education for at least two years. To ensure a range of participants from throughout the UK, there is one place for each of the following areas: Scotland, Wales, London, North, Midlands, South West, South East, and Northern Ireland.
