Peer Forum, Artquest’s annual Peer Mentoring programme aims to assist artists by providing them with the funding, space and resources necessary to establish their own peer mentoring groups. Peckham Platform is a creative and educational charity that believes communities can inform and shape their engagement with their locality by working with contemporary visual artists. Artquest and Peckham Platform are seeking applications from artists with a socially engaged practice. Peckham Platform will provide an appropriate space for the group to carry out meetings. The selected artists/groups will also receive an all-inclusive award of £1,800 to run 6 peer-mentoring sessions over a 6 month period. To be eligible to apply for this opportunity you must be a London based artist, so must at least half the members of your proposed peer mentoring group and no members of the peer mentoring group can be currently undertaking a course of study at University or similar.
