Project Pressure and The Glacier Trust invite proposals from artists using photography and video to contribute to Project Pressure’s archive. This opportunity will see an artist travel to the Nepalese Himalayas to document glacier research in the region. The project’s purpose is to launch the world’s first comprehensive crowd-sourced glacier archive hosted on an open source digital platform (MELT), a touring photographic exhibition, and a book publication. The selected artist will be invited to join a three-week expedition to Nepal. The dates for the trek are 12th October – 30th October 2016. Flights, accommodation, food and a trekking kit are provided.
