The Pythéas Research Institute, the Calanques National Park, and the Camargo Foundation invite artists to submit applications for an art & science residency, in order to think, create and work on the Human/Nature relationship. Eight international artists or collectives will be hosted at the Camargo Foundation for a one month residency in January-February 2018. Accompanied by researchers, officers and users of the Calanques National Park, selected artists will be invited to re-invent links between the nature and the inhabitants of the Marseille metropolitan area. An overall one-time stipend of 2 000 EUR will be granted to each selected project to cover expenditure associated with the residency (including food and daily expenses). Funding for basic transportation to and from Cassis is available. In the case of air travel, basic coach class booked far in advance is covered. Accommodation at the Camargo Foundation is also provided.
Expires: June 22, 2017
