RAW Labs – Artist Residency

Website: https://bowarts.org/whats-on/exhibitions-and-events/raw-labs-artist-residency-brief

Bow Arts are inviting expressions of interest for the 5th RAW Labs residency at Royal Albert Wharf, Newham, in partnership with Visions in the Nunnery. The residency takes place from September/October 2018 to January 2019 and is open to Fine Artists, designers and makers using a digital/moving image format. The residency includes a free practical workspace; a commission to make new piece(s) of work; a series of public-facing activity (workshops, events, talks etc) for local residents and visitors and providing informal mentoring support to a graduate artist. The resident artist will be a key point of contact on site, and should therefore be happy to interact with the public on an ongoing, informal basis. Fully formed proposals are not expected at this stage and applicants should outline any initial ideas, themes or interests you hope to explore through the residency. There will be a fee of up to £4,000, made up of a £2,500 artist fee and £1,500 towards equipment and materials.
