Refiguring the Feminist Future – Web Residencies by Solitude & ZKM

Website: http://webresidencies-solitude-zkm.com/

This is a call for artists, activists, poets, writers to propose Web performances, web sculpture, various forms of Net art and online interactions that challenge existing histories and speculative futures through storytelling and counter narrative imagining using web as their platform. The web residencies focus not on the finished art piece, but rather on process. The topic for this web residency is the female future .Web residencies are carried out exclusively online, and the works are presented onschloss-post.com and web-residencies.zkm.de. Artists and students of all disciplines as well as former or current Solitude fellows may apply. The curator will select four project proposals, whose creators are rewarded with a four-week residency and 500 USD. If specific software or environments are needed, please contact us in advance.
