Stratford Circus: East London Emerging Artist Research & Development Awards


Stratford Circus believe in supporting artists and understand the value and importance of resourcing and developing ideas. Stratford Circus will fund five emerging artists with a £2,000 award to contribute to their creative practice or development of a new creative idea which will connect to communities in East London. The project or idea can be from any artform, and they are particularly keen to fund projects and ideas which connect artists and creatives to our local communities with an overall objective to bring joy through art and connect their audience to creativity. The award can go towards further professional development, equipment or tools or used as a wage to subsidise time taken to develop your idea or be a steppingstone in moving an idea into a reality. Applicants must be a n emerging artist, of any age, with up to 2 years professional experience and based in or proven commitment to working in East London.
