The Jerwood Newlyn Residency
The Jerwood Newlyn Residency will offer opportunities for up to six artists to be in-residence within Jerwood Arts, exploring and developing their own practice in response to the wider mission of the gallery, with a particular invitation to interrogate and support these socially-focussed strands of their work. Selected artists will be provided with furnished accommodation in Newlyn or Penzance for the duration of the residency, a fee equivalent to £25,420 pa pro rata, a production budget of up to £1,500 and access to a budget of up to £650 per artist to support their professional development. Applicants must be in the first 10 years of their practice and be UK-based.
