The Rising

The Rising is a programme by ]performance s p a c e [  with Live Art UK’s Diverse Actions, which gives selected artists the time, space and required resources to try out new work and explore the edges of their craft. The Rising will include one week’s studio residency to develop artistic practice, a platform event (Saturday 11th November) and a culminating week of professional development with guest lectures & sessions. The opportunity is only available to performance artists who identify as Black, Asian & Minority Ethnic. All artists will be provided with: £500 bursary,  14 nights accommodation at ]performance s p a c e [ in Folkestone, £200 materials & production and return travel to Folkestone.
