The Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize is celebrating its 26th annual exhibition in 2021. The exhibition and awards are open to applications by emerging, mid-career and established artists and makers from the UK, and internationally. The Working Drawing Award will have an online entry process only and a dedicated expert selection panel, alongside the main entry process and selection panel for the Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize. The annual exhibition of around 65 drawings is selected by a panel of distinguished selectors. There will be a separate display of the drawings shortlisted for the Working Drawing Award within the overall exhibition. The First Prize of £8,000; Second Prize of £5,000; Student Award of £2,000; and the Working Drawing Award of £2,000 will be announced in September 2021 at Trinity Buoy Wharf. The £10,00 biennial Evelyn Williams Drawing is awarded to a selected artist with a significant track record to develop and realise a body of new drawings for a solo exhibition or to realise a new exhibition installation otherwise based on their drawing practice at Hastings Contemporary. Please note that students are not eligible for this award. The following application fees apply: Standard Entry: 1 work = £20; 2 works = £30; 3 works = £40 Student Entry: 1 work = £15; 2 works = £20; 3 works = £25
