V&A Danish Ceramics Residency
The V&A invites applications from Danish ceramic artists who wish to develop their practice in new ways by working with the V&A’s collections and developing public engagement activities. This residency is programmed in partnership with the Danish Arts Foundation.
The Residency will be based in a purpose-built studio in the Ceramics galleries at the V&A in London. It will take place over a six-month period from mid-April to end of September 2018 and is open to professional Danish ceramic artists who are active in the contemporary art and design scene. The Museum will provide a bursary, one standard return flight, an accommodation stipend of £6,000, up to £1,000 for the shipment of works outside of the UK by the end of the residency (to be organised by the appointed resident) and an additional budget of £1,500 for materials needed for production of any public facing activities or displays.
All interviews will take place through Skype on Wednesday 10 January 2017 (10 am – 5 pm GMT) – and shortlisted candidates must be available for interview on this date.
