The Wells Art Contemporary (WAC) Awards is an international open competition for contemporary visual arts. Open to artists working in painting, sculpture, drawing, printmaking, photography, installation or video, the WAC Awards aims to stimulate debate, challenge and provoke, pushing the boundaries of the visual arts scene both nationally and internationally. The competition is open to all artists aged 18 and over based in the UK or internationally. Artists may enter up to four works and there is an entry fee of £15 per work or £12 per work for current students. There are several prizes to be awarded including the RK Harrison Award of £2,000 and the JGM Gallery Exhibition Prize for up to 4 artists to participate in an exhibition.
