WWF Cymru invites proposal for artists for the WWF Cymru Earth Hour 2017 Public Art Project. WWF’s Earth Hour is an annual international event when people turn off their lights for one hour on the same night as a symbolic show of support for the future of the planet. In 2017, it will take place at 8.30pm on Saturday 25 March. This public art project will be a part of WWF Cymru’s Earth Hour campaign in Wales. They want this project to include a participatory element that will enable participants to demonstrate their support for action on climate change in Wales. The location for this project will be outside the Senedd (National Assembly) building in Cardiff Bay. The budget available is £10,000 including VAT for creative development and running of activities, including materials.
