London Sculpture Workshop is an independent sculpture studio in Woolwich, South East London. Located within Thames Side Studios, LSW offers exceptional facilities for artists and those interested in making three-dimensional work.

LSW offers short courses in a wide variety of technical and skill based processes, which are taught by practicing artists, available to book throughout the year. The courses cover a wide range of skills including welding, casting, mould making and more. Taught in our superbly equipped metal and wood workshops, ceramic and mould making areas, and hot-metal facilities.

The workshops are open to those interested in using the facilities through an open-access pay-as-you-go membership scheme, available Thursday and Friday between 9.30am-1pm & 2pm-5.30pm. Open-access membership is for anyone who has enough experience to work independently, all first-time users will be given an induction to the equipment and health & safety procedures.

London Sculpture Workshop is a not-for-profit, community interested company, established in 2012 by artists Giles Corby and Jessica Mello, trained at RCA and Slade. LSW was set up as a partner to CRISIS, offering their members access to a specially tailored educational programme. In 2013 and 2014 LSW was awarded the Chelsea Arts Club Trust ‘Artist Run Space Award’. In 2016 LSW’s work was recognised and awarded a grant from the Mayor of London.

Open Monday to Friday 09:30am to 17:30pm, Saturdays 09:30am -13:00pm.
